Roma have reportedly opened talks with Leeds United to start sounding out a potential deal for winger Crysencio Summerville.
The Giallorossi were trying to fight Jose Mourinho’s Fenerbahce for Sevilla winger Youssef En-Nesyri but lost out on a deal to the Turkish giants, forcing them to start considering alternative options to bolster Daniele De Rossi’s attack this summer.
In the meantime, Roma have been pushing to sign Argentinian talent Matias Soule from Juventus, competing with Leicester City and now West Ham for his signature. The Italian side submitted a new offer to try and find a deal.
Francesco Guerrieri of Calciomercato.com details how Roma have made contact with Leeds to start discussing a possible move for Summerville, learning that the 22-year-old winger has a €20-25m price tag.
The Dutchman, who has two years left on his contract with the Whites, scored 21 goals and provided 10 assists across 49 appearances last season.
