Paulo Dybala has said a public farewell to Juventus, as his contract expires and Arsenal position themselves among his summer suitors.

Posting on his Twitter account on Sunday, Paulo Dybala said farewell to the Juventus fans, with his contract expiring this summer.

“I thought we would be together even more years, but fate puts us on different paths,” Dybala said, before removing any lingering doubts by confirming: “Tomorrow will be my last match with this shirt. It’s hard to imagine, but it will be our last goodbye.”

This could be relevant news to Arsenal, as reports in the Italian media have suggested that Dybala will sign for the club if they qualify for the Champions League. Obviously, that is very much in the balance right now.

Dybala’s agent has already reportedly travelled to London to discuss Arsenal’s proposal.

The player is asking for a salary of €8m, including bonuses, which is around £130,000-a-week.

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are also reportedly interested in the forward, who is available on a free transfer this summer. If Arsenal missed out on top-four to Spurs, you’d imagine that would swing the balance in their favour.

ESPN previously reported that Arsenal were among four Premier League clubs to make contact with his camp over a move.

Dybala has 15 goals and six assists for Juventus this season in 2,447 minutes, a goal contribution every 116.5 minutes. He’s had a few minor injury problems this season, but he’s added goals to his team when fit.
