Filip Kostic, Aymen Barkok and Almamy Toure all celebrated wins with their national teams on Thursday.

Having been rested in the previous match, Filip Kostic was introduced in the 64th minute. Winning start to AFCON qualifying Aymen Barkok was in the starting line-up for Morocco as they kicked off their Africa Cup of Nations qualification campaign. Barkok played 60 minutes in a 2-1 win over South Africa. Almamy Toure, meanwhile, was an unused substitute in Mali’s 3-1 victory over South Sudan. Cameo appearances for Sow and Hauge Elsewhere in the Nations League, Switzerland lost 1-0 at home to Spain, with Djibril Sow coming on in the 89th minute. Jens Petter Hauge and Norway dropped points for the first time in their group, but the 0-0 draw with Slovenia was enough to keep them top of the table. Hauge replaced Mohamed Elyounoussi in the 81st minute.
