Subway have today announced they are the new title partners of the Women’s League Cup, in a multi-year deal that will support the growth of women’s football.
The competition will be renamed as the Subway Women’s League Cup from this season and aims to support the development of the women’s game. The restaurant chain are partnering with the Women’s Professional Leagues Limited (WPLL) for this move, which is aiming to drive investment into the women’s game.

Women’s football has only been growing in the last few years, and according to Two Circles, over two million people attended women’s football matches this year, which is a 38% increase from 2023.
