Stuttgart attempt to hijack Anton Stach’s move to Leeds United | OneFootball

Florian Plettenberg reports that new talks between Leeds United and Hoffenheim over the transfer of Anton Stach (26) took place today, but Stuttgart have now entered the fold. The Bundesliga side have registered their interest and held talks as they look to hijack a deal.

Hoffenheim are yet to reach an agreement with either club, and are holding out for a reported €20m plus bonuses for Stach. Leeds United are in pole position given that Stach has agreed personal terms with the Premier League club, but this deal is far from completion.

During the 2023/24 campaign, Stach was ranked second for interceptions (74) across Europe’s top five leagues.
