STUNNER! Aston Villa striker Wesley blasts Clement in previously unpublished interview

Aston Villa striker Wesley Moraes has hit out at sacked Club Brugge coach Philippe Clement.

Wesley has since quit Club Brugge himself and joined Internacional on-loan.

With Clement now gone, De Krant van West-Vlaanderen has published an old interview given by Wesley which was allegedly held back after complaints from the club and coach.

Wesley stated: "I did everything for this club, which for me received the record sum of 25 million euros!

"Then the trainer comes to me at Anderlecht after the warm-up in the dressing room to tell me that I'm not sitting on the bench, but in the stands."

Wesley effectively sat down in the stands - and had to be calmed by his wife. But from then something was broken between the player and coach. Wesley only played four times for Club Brugge after that match at the beginning of October.
