RC Strasbourg Alsace have impressed in the early stages of the 2024/25 Ligue 1 season despite results not always going their way. Liam Rosenior’s squad have lost only once in their first seven games but they’ve also only won twice with draws coming far more frequently to the young team.
Rosenior will likely go with a largely unchanged lineup from the team that drew 2-2 with RC Lens ahead of the international break. The English manager likes to keep a settled team when he can but the injury to Guela Doué means that Marvin Senaya will be provided with a start on the right of a back five.
Another change that Rosenior could make would be to drop Ismaël Doukouré from midfield to add a third centre-back in Mamadou Sarr. The former Olympique Lyonnais academy had missed the Lens game with a thigh injury after starting the previous two matches.
