It was an energy-sapping Thursday night for RC Strasbourg Alsace as they secured their place in this season’s UEFA Europa Conference League, thanks to a 3-2 win over Brondby in Denmark. Liam Rosenior is expected to introduce an element of rotation in his side, with captain Emanuel Emegha notably expected to drop to the bench.
Emegha revealed in the post-match celebrations that he had sustained a minor injury, albeit not one expected to keep him out of the trip to face AS Monaco on Sunday. However, he is not expected to start. Strasbourg are also without Andrew Omobamidele and Abakar Sylla, most notably.
The likes of Dilane Bakwa, Matthis Amougou, and Samuel Amo-Ameyaw could also start on the bench against the Principality club.
