As reported by RMC, Caen midfielder Jessy Deminguet has been approached by a trio of clubs this summer window after an impressive season in the French second tier.

With just a year left on his current deal with Ligue 2 Caen, the 24-year-old all-round midfielder has seen interest from Strasbourg and second tier division champions Toulouse ahead of their return to Ligue 1 after two year out of the elite. A German second division club, whose name has yet to filter through, has also approached the player over a move.

Deminguet managed nine assists and six goals from midfield in 33 games in Ligue 2 this season as Caen recovered from a  poor start to finish a comfortable seventh, without challenging for the play-offs, under former Angers manager Stéphane Moulin. In the process, as part of a strong squad on paper, Deminguet became arguably Caen’s most important player having spent his entire career with the Normandy side, scoring 17 goals and providing 17 assists across 139 career senior games so far.
