Two years after the risky and spectacular signing of Mathys Tel, Bayern have once again secured a talented French striker. As the Munich club officially announced, Noah Codjo-Evora will join FC Bayern in the summer.

FC Bayern is gearing up for the future and will be enriched by an exciting talent from the summer. On Tuesday, the Munich club announced on its website that Noah Codjo-Evora is moving from FC Annecy to the Isar. The 16-year-old has signed a long-term contract and will initially score goals for the U19 team.

Codjo-Evora only joined FC Annecy last summer, having previously played for the youth team of FC Villefranche-Beaujolais. Unlike Mathys Tel, however, Codjo-Evora comes to Munich from the south-east French Alpine town as a fairly unknown quantity. So far, he has „only“ played for Annecy’s U17s and has not yet had a taste of the pros. In addition, he has yet to play for a French youth or junior team.

Anticipation at FC Bayern: „Tall, powerful centre-forward“

Hamit Altintop is nevertheless confident that the new signing can make his way in Munich. „Noah is an exciting talent who we have been watching closely for several months. He is a tall centre-forward with a strong header who has a good understanding of the game and is also athletically well trained,“ said the Bayern Campus sporting director, praising Codjo-Evora’s abilities.

He is now looking forward to the 16-year-old „taking the next steps in his development at the campus“. The talented striker is expected to arrive at the campus in early July, where he will start training with the U19s.
