West Bromwich Albion have taken to Twitter this Friday afternoon to share a short video clip of Sam Johnstone back at work at the training ground, amid serious speculation over his future as a Baggies player.

The goalkeeper had a fine season last year in the Premier League and, despite the eventual relegation the club suffered, many felt as though Johnstone looked at home in the top flight.

Indeed, that has seen a lot written about him this summer concerning a potential transfer away from The Hawthorns but, as yet, nothing has come to pass and he’s now back working with the club after international duty with England for the European Championships.

Naturally, this has got West Brom fans saying a great deal in the replies section to this particular tweet, with them all obviously keen to see Johnstone stay if possible and, indeed, sign a new contract to really protect against a sale.
