Jayden Danns is open to a move to the Potters, who seem to be in a decent position to try and get a loan move over the line for him.

Liverpool youngster Jayden Danns is open to a move to Championship side Stoke City.

This is according to TEAMtalk, who believe the Potters may be in a fairly strong position to get a loan deal over the line for the attacker, who has already made an impact at first-team level for the Reds.

He has only made three senior appearances for the Merseyside outfit this season, but has managed to get himself on the scoresheet, scoring against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup earlier this month.

Danns also scored a brace in the same competition against Southampton last season - and the teenager has been able to establish himself as one of the club's most talented young players.

However, he will need more senior experience under his belt if he wants to accelerate his development.

An injury he sustained during the summer window prevented him from making a loan move, with Plymouth Argyle being linked with a move for the 19-year-old before his setback. But this window, a move seems to be on the cards.

TEAMtalk have reported that Danns is open to a switch to the bet365 Stadium.

It's also been reported that the Midlands side may be in a strong position to get a deal over the line for the 19-year-old, who is more likely to arrive than Coventry City attacker Brandon Thomas-Asante at this stage.

Stoke and Arne Slot's side have been in negotiations for a deal for Danns in recent weeks, which has allowed them to assert themselves as strong contenders in this race.

The Reds' man isn't the only player of interest to the Potters, with Mark Sykes, Jeffrey Schupp and Krystian Bielik all on their radar.

Ali Al-Hamadi may have joined following Tom Cannon's exit, but the former hasn't enjoyed a good time with Ipswich Town this season.

It's clear that he's a player who needs more confidence if he's to thrive - and bringing in someone who could provide competition for his place could be a good idea.

Danns is a very talented youngster, and having already scored three times for the Reds, it wouldn't be a surprise to see him do well at the bet365 Stadium.

Already knowing Lewis Koumas, Stoke could use that to their advantage, with the pair likely to be on the same wavelength.
