Wow, 20. What a number! 20 Scudetti. 116 years and now finally we are here.

Today is a special day, a historical day for the entire Nerazzurri Family. Today our hearts are full of joy because Inter have achieved something only few can ever dream of.

Today, all Inter fans around the world will be celebrating the achievement of our Second Star, an incredible mark on our history that we have written together.

We’ve faced countless challenges, from successes and difficult moments, to reaching the greatest glory, which repays all our efforts.

Our aim has always been the same: to return to the heights of Italian and European football.

We’ve achieved that together. And today we’re celebrating the 20th Scudetto in our history. Our second star that we will wear on our chest from here now on.

When Armando Picchi lifted Inter’s tenth Scudetto in 1966, 58 years had passed since the Club’s foundation in 1908. A long journey that took us another 58 years, and now reached in 2024.

Legend from Giuseppe Meazza to Helenio Herrera’s Grande Inter tells the tale of the Inter of Records and glories of the Treble. My family and I joined the Moratti and Pellegrini families and all the Inter fans that have trembled, cried and celebrated throughout the Club’s history.

We’re proud to have picked up their legacy and made our own mark on 116 years of Inter’s history, a story that will continue with time. Sharing these emotions with these two shining stars tonight, we think of all those who have contributed to achieving this extraordinary event.

This victory is the result of a top-quality management, staffs off the pitch. So, I would like to take this opportunity to thank all my managers, all my staff, women and men at Inter, without whom our success would never even exist.

My biggest thanks also go to our warriors fighting on the pitch. To our amazing coach Simone Inzaghi and all of his staff: thank you, Simone. I have said many times, you are a gift for me during my presidency, an expert, an exceptional person who has shaped our team with a winning mentality.

You have conveyed a sense of confidence and serenity, and you have also created this outstanding group.

I also want to thank my players. I am proud of you. You keep Inter pushing forward and you are a team of champions made from honourable values.

To our extraordinary fans, who join me in singing the most beautiful chant: “per tutti quei chilometri che ho fatto per te! [for all the kilometres I’ve travelled for you!]”. That is the chant that moves me the most and that could bring everyone back alongside of you on the stands of San Siro.

This is the eighth year since we took the ownership of this wonderful Club. Together, we’ve experienced two European finals, seven trophies, and twice we have been the best in Italy. We’ve helped Inter to grow and together, we have reached incredible heights both on and off the pitch.

Let’s continue on this wonderful journey, to be our reality as so glorious as our dreams.
