Former England boss Steve McClaren has been pictured at Manchester United's London headquarters.

The ex-United assistant is set to take up a role on Erik ten Hag's coaching staff.

The 61-year-old was pictured leaving the club's offices in London this week, after coordinating with ten Hag and his assistant Mitchell van der Gaag.

According to the Mirror, United are close to announcing deals for both van der Gaag and McClaren to join ten Hag.

The Dutchman takes over at United at the end of the season, as he seeks to rebuild the struggling giant.

United play their final game of the season away to Crystal Palace on Sunday, with interim boss Ralf Rangnick still in charge.
