Stephen Ajewole is the latest to join the academy as United continue their overhaul at youth level, according to the Manchester Evening News.
The process has really accelerated under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer which shouldn’t come as a surprise considering he previously managed youth teams in the academy before taking charge of Molde.
The highly rated scout has left a similar role at former side Manchester City.
Ajewole is understood to have the responsibility of dealing with players between the ages U15 and U18.
The swoop was headed by United’s head of youth recruitment David Harrison, who left his role as head of European youth scouting at City to join United back in 2017.
Appointments like this can only help the future of the club and with the right background checks in place, it looks like United are not only signing the best young players but also hiring incredible staff.
