Legendary Swiss defender Stephan Lichtsteiner has announced that he has hung up his boots at the age of 36.
He most recently featured in the Bundesliga with Augsburg but is most famous for his time in Italy.
After impressing with Lazio for three years, he earned a move to Juventus, where he cemented himself as a modern day great.
He won the league title in each of his seven seasons there and picked up seven other domestic trophies, while reaching the Champions League final twice.
After leaving on a free transfer in 2018, he joined Arsenal, although his time at the Emirates was disappointing and lasted just one season.
In addition to starring in his homeland and with Lille, Lichtsteiner also picked up over 100 caps for his country.
