Inter midfielder Stefano Sensi is hoping to be available for selection for the first match back after the upcoming international break, according to a report in the Italian print media today.

As has been reported by Tuttosport, the Italian midfielder will not be able to make it back to full fitness in time for the matches against Atalanta, Shakhtar Donetsk, and Sassuolo which all come before the two week break for international fixtures to take place.

It is assumed that Italy boss Roberto Mancini will not be taking Stefano Sensi with him for those international matches, so that means the ex-Sassuolo man can focus on the Lazio match.

Simone Inzaghi may be very happy that he is fit by then because of the complications around getting the South American players back to Italy in time for the match.

Simone Inzaghi could be without five senior players for the Lazio match.
