Stefano Sensi described his move to Inter as ‘a dream come true’ last night after officially joining the Nerazzurri on loan.

The midfielder thanked his family, friends, agent and wife for always believing in him after remembering there were ‘those who used to say I would never make it’.

He recalled ‘running kilometres and making sacrifices’ to reach Inter before telling supporters he was happy to be ‘one of them’.

“I’ve smiled and I’ve cried but now I’m here, I’m an Inter player,” the 23-year-old said in a heartfelt Instagram post.

“It’s impossible to describe what I’ve been feeling for these last few days, I won’t even try. There’s nothing that could be better for me.

“I want to win with Inter and I want to convince everyone. I can’t wait to walk into the Pinetina, feel the black-and-blue shirt on me and touch the grass at San Siro. I’m happy.”
