Stefano Sensi could miss Inter’s crucial Scudetto showdown with Juventus in Turin, as he faces 15-20 days on the sidelines.

The Italian international picked up a knock in the Coppa Italia defeat to Napoli, and scans later revealed that he had suffered a hairline fracture to the navicular bone of his left foot.

The club confirmed that his condition will be reevaluated next week, meaning he will miss the Lazio game on Sunday.

Now though Corriere dello Sport reports that Sensi will be sidelined for 15-20 days, putting him at risk for the trip to Turin on March 1.

The newspaper explains that the injury is not serious and the 24-year-old is suffering discomfort rather than actual pain, but Inter are taking no chances with his recovery.

The bone needs to reset fully or Sensi risks doing further damage and even require surgery.

The midfielder will aim to return for the Juve game but as things stand his presence in Turin isn’t certain.

As a result Antonio Conte will not be able to rotate as much as planned against Ludogorets in the Europa League next week.

Only five midfielders will be available for the match, and Christian Eriksen could play just behind a lone striker.
