Stefan Savić not looking for move from Atlético Madrid | OneFootball

The agent of Stefan Savić has insisted the defender will not be leaving Atlético Madrid this summer.

It has been a season blighted by injury for the Montenegro international, but Zarko Pelicic has dismissed any suggestion that Savić will be seeking fresh pastures.

“He has a contract until 2023, and he is very proud to wear the Atlético shirt,” Pelicic is reported as saying by Italian outlet Tuttomercato (via Football Espana).

“In the past there was links with Juventus, but it is all just speculation and rumours.”

Tottenham have been linked with a move for the former Manchester City centre-back, but his representative’s words suggest the 29-year-old is happy at the Wanda Metropolitano.

Savić will be hoping for better fortune next season, as niggling injuries have restricted him to just 14 LaLiga starts this term.
