Check out all the facts and figures from Paris Saint-Germain's 6-2 win at Montpellier on Sunday 17th March 2024 on match day 26 of Ligue 1.

THE SIX-BEAT WALTZ

A scintillating victory that felt like a recital piece. It is the 5th time in history that PSG have won away from home in Ligue 1 by scoring six goals after Troyes (9-0, 2015-2016), Caen (6-0, 2016-2017), Clermont 6-1, 2021-2022) and Lille (7-1, 2022-2023). But it's also the 15th time since 2011-2012 that the capital club has scored at least 6 goals in a Ligue 1 match, and that's at least 9 more times than any other team!

Paris have also scored 96 goals in all competitions this season, with the milestone of 100 soon to be passed! The win also marked the 350th away win in L1 for Paris Saint-Germain, making them only the fourth team to reach this milestone after Marseille in October 2020, Monaco in April 2021 and Lyon in December 2022. PSG achieved this feat on their 947th trip to the top flight, 197 fewer than ASM, the second-fastest (1144).

KYLIAN MBAPPE / VITINHA: AN EXPLOSIVE DUO

What a performance from these two men. First of all, KM, who scored a resounding hat-trick that the cross-bar and the whole of the south of France will remember for a long time to come. On Sunday evening, he made Montpellier his favourite target, scoring 13 goals against the Pailladins, now ahead of Dijon and Lyon (12). He also reached 250 goals with Paris Saint-Germain, in his 200th Ligue 1 match in the red and blue shirt.

With 188 goals scored in Ligue 1 (Monaco + Paris), Kylian Mbappé is now only the 8th top scorer in the league's history, and with 3 goals and 1 assist, this is the first time he has been involved in 4 goals in the same L1 match since 9th April 2022 against Clermont, also withb 4 involvements).

And it's the 7th time this season that Paris Saint-Germain's No7 has scored at least one goal and provided at least one assist in the same match - the best ratio of any of Europe's 5 major leagues!

Vitinha, meanwhile, put in a solid performance at both ends of the pitch. It was the 1st time the Portuguese international has been involved in 3 league goals (1 goal, 2 assists), as well as the 1st time he has scored 2 goals in the same game. The Parisian No17 has also set the record straight! He has scored 5 goals from outside the box since his first Ligue 1 goal on 15th April 2023, with only Kylian Mbappé scoring more than him over that period (6).

ICING ON THE CAKE

Danilo played his 150th match for PSG on Sunday evening, a testament to the consistency the Portuguese has shown since joining Paris Saint-Germain. At the other end of the scale, Senny Mayulu celebrated the first Ligue 1 start of his young career, having made his professional debut in the Coupe de France against Orléans a few weeks ago.
