Liverpool moved joint-top in the Premier League on Sunday evening thanks to a fine performance against Leicester City as a new record at home in the league was set with another unbeaten result.

The Reds had questions being asked of them going into this one thanks to their defensive injury crisis but responded magnificently, not looking under threat or pressure much at all against a Foxes side that had started the weekend top of the league.

Several players impressed greatly. Fabinho and Joel Matip were commanding at the back, Andy Robertson and James Milner shone at full-back, whilst Diogo Jota once again got on the scoresheet with a fine header after Robertson crossed in.

A performance to be rightly proud of from the reigning champions, then, and fans took to Twitter to reflect on the win.
