USMNT draw Saudi Arabia

The USMNT failed to score yet again as they drew with Saudi Arabia 0-0, completing a very disappointing international break.

A grim statistic has revealed that Gregg Berhalter’s team has been held scoreless against other countries going to the 2022 World Cup. In six of their last seven games against such sides, they have only earned 3-0 victory against Morocco.

Berhalter, attempting to explain their performance, said: “I still think we’re not as confident as I’d like. We’re playing tentative and you see the connections are just, they’re not there like we’d want. The effort was great today. The intensity was great, especially at the end of the game. We kept pushing, kept trying to score. I can’t fault the effort, but we need to keep improving.”

“I think in general, it’s nervy times. People are worried about being on the roster or not, and it’s a difficult moment. But having said that, we just need to go out and play together. Still, the confidence isn’t there yet, but we’ll get there.”

This was the final scheduled tune-up match for the United States as they will next face Wales in their opening World Cup match 54 days from now on November 21st.

Reyna taken off as ‘precaution’

This news will come as a relief to all USMNT and Borussia Dortmund supporters after Gio Reyna was removed at the half-hour mark.

Seattle-Cincinnati draw, East and West finish with same record

This was the 112th and final inter-conference match of the season, with the two conferences finishing with 40 wins and 32 draws in matches against one another.

Brenner and Fredy Montero would each get on the scoresheet while Seattle were forced to spend the last 20 minutes and change with 10 men after Kelyn Rowe was sent off for DOGSO.

Despite this, Cincinnati were not able to find the win as both teams will leave disappointed for dropping two points with their playoff fates still in the balance.

Pulisic linked with Leeds move

Leeds United could truly become “America’s team” as CalcioMercato claim that they are one of four clubs keen on Christian Pulisic in the January window.

Juventus, Newcastle and former club Borussia Dortmund are all said to be interested, with Chelsea reportedly putting a £31.5m price tag on the 24-year-old.

2023 El Tráfico headed to the Rose Bowl

The season-opener, if it sells out, would smash the MLS single-game attendance record, currently held by Charlotte FC, who hosted 74,479 fans in their inaugural match back in March.

USMNT U-19s win Slovenia Nations Cup

Sergio Oregel Jr. and Marcos Zambrano scored as the United States defeated Scotland 2-1 to claim the Slovenia Nations Cup.

The United States went a perfect 3-0 as they recorded a 4-3 win over Croatia and a 5-0 victory over Malta.

2026 World Cup final in… Dallas?

We’ll believe it when we see it.

Throwback rack 👕

With the MLS returning to the Rose Bowl, we look back at the first-ever California Clásico all the way back in 1996.

What’s on tap today?

Honestly, we can’t really recommend too much today. Just sit back and hope the United States can get out of the group stage in Qatar.
