MLS is out of action and we’re still stewing over the USMNT’s unforgivable run against Japan and Saudi Arabia.
Long-time San Jose Earthquakes star Shea Salinas has announced his retirement following the conclusion of the MLS season.
Salinas ranks 10th in MLS history in games played (374) and is just one of 22 players to ever play 15 seasons in Major League Soccer.
Since joining the club in 2020, Reynoso has been a vital part of their success, with the Loons going 25-5-5 in all competitions whenever “El Rey’ provides a goal or an assist.
After hurting his ankle earlier in the month in a 2-1 defeat to Tottenham, Jedi Robinson is back on the pitch and in full Fulham first-team training.
He’s set to feature for the USMNT in Qatar and his return will be welcome news.
This will be the first time the USMNT faces England or Spain since the trio, along with Japan, competed in the 2020 SheBelieves Cup.
Houston appear to have their hands tied and will do little in the way of improvement heading into 2023.
Five years ago, the now-retiring Shea Salinas scored an insane banger to lift San Jose to a wild 2-1 California Clasico victory.
Again, not too much to recommend today other than the exciting USWNT announcement for their two upcoming October friendlies.
