Championship matches, transfer news and injury updates continue to make headlines across the United States.
Here is what we have for you this Wednesday.
With the international break ongoing, there isnât much action happening domestically but D.C. United added another trophy to their cabinet after winning their second consecutive Capital Cup.
Defender Rio Hope-Gund scored the winner in a 1-0 victory over Guatemalan side XelajĂș MC.
The D.C. United news doesnât stop there either as the club continues their discussions with Liga MX club Atlas over Edison Flores, as per the Washington Post.
The Peruvian international made just 39 appearances in MLS scoring three goals in the process.
We have some good news for Borussia Dortmund fans today.
Giovanni Reyna appears to be in Austin, Texas working on his recovery. The USMNT is coincidentally in the same place ahead of their CONCACAF Nations League clash with Grenada on Friday.
Positive signs for both club and country. All the best, Gio!
Charlotte FC captain Christian Fuchs discussed the clubâs new chapter after new head coach Christian Lattanzio took charge of his first training session on Tuesday.
âIt was disappointing that he [Miguel RamĂrez couldnât connect with us,â he said. âWe are looking forward now to what is coming next. We have a great coach with Christian Lattanzio who has vast experience, for decades. He won the Premier League with Mancini, with Manchester City, I donât think there is anything else I need to add.
âHe is also very committed to the Club, he could have gone with Patrick Vieira to Crystal Palace but decided to be a part of this new venture.
âWhat Iâve seen today, with the desire of the players, with how they had a go at each other, how emotional it was our there⊠emotional in a good way. How competitive it was out there. I think there is something really good happening right now.â
DiDi HaraÄiÄ was seemingly a brick wall for Angel City FC on Tuesday evening saving an impressive long-range effort from Sophie Schmidt before pushing another off the bar later on.
Houston Dashâs Jane Campbell, however, was also in on the action making it a battle of the goalkeepers.
The match finished 0-0 (unsurprisingly).
Another classic was LA Galaxyâs two-tone kit from 1996 â half black and half dark green with pops of yellow and red throughout. Andy Warhol would be proud.
