Liverpool travel to London on Sunday to face West Ham United in their final game of 2024. Arne Slot’s side will be looking to end the year with another three points, to round off a hugely impressive calendar year with the Reds sitting top of both the Premier League and UEFA Champions League tables.
With that being said, let’s take a look at our predicted lineup for this huge clash against West Ham…
Alisson Becker will start in goal, as expected. Caoimhin Kelleher will be eyeing minutes against Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup in two weeks time.

Ahead of Alisson, Virgil Van Dijk will captain the side and will be joined by Joe Gomez at the heart of the defence. Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson will also remain as the two full-backs for this one.
Jarell Quansah and Kostas Tsimikas will add depth from the bench, whilst Ibou Konate and Conor Bradley continue their returns from injury.
Verdict: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk (C), Robertson
With Liverpool having a rare 7 days between the clash with West Ham United and Manchester United, expect Slot to go heavy for this one. Alexis Mac Allister and Ryan Gravenberch will partner each other at the base of the midfield.

Dominik Szoboszlai would have been in line to return to the starting lineup for this one, but will miss the game through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the Premier League season against Leicester City.
Instead, Curtis Jones will look to build on his performance from that game, where he put his name on the scoresheet.
Verdict: Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Jones
Luis Diaz will undoubtedly return to the starting lineup and will play as a false-nine once again after a simply sublime performance in that role against Tottenham Hotspur. Mohamed Salah and Cody Gakpo will remain as the wide forwards for this one, with both starring in the 3-1 victory over Leicester City.

From the bench, Diogo Jota, Darwin Nunez and Federico Chiesa will look to make an impact.
Verdict: Salah, Diaz, Gakpo
Starting XI: Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk (C), Robertson, Gravenberch, Mac Allister, Jones, Salah, Diaz, Gakpo
Bench: Kelleher, Quansah, Tsimikas, Endo, Morton, Elliott, Chiesa, Jota, Nunez
