Today marked the first day on which Carlo Ancelotti was able to call on the members of his squad to have departed for international duty over the course of the last week.

As much comes amid preparations for Real Madrid’s return to action this weekend, when the capital giants will play host to Athletic Club on Sunday night.

Whilst the majority of the returning players were deemed fit and well enough to jump straight back into group activities on Thursday, though, as alluded to above, precautionary measures were taken with three.

As per a report from Arancha Rodríguez of COPE, the aforementioned Bellingham, Valverde, and Camavinga trained inside the gym.

The latter was of course forced into an early departure from France’s meeting with Chile on Tuesday owing to an ankle problem.

Bellingham, meanwhile, played a central role in England’s high-profile clashes with both Brazil and Belgium, whilst Valverde saw out the entirety of Uruguay’s friendly defeat at the hands of the Ivory Coast.

When it comes to the availability of the trio to face Athletic Club, though, those of a Real Madrid persuasion need not fret.

This comes with it also assured that all three are expected to link back up with the rest of their teammates in full training on Friday.
