Fabrizio Romano is reporting that Standard Liege are looking to bring Jonathan Panzo to Belgium on loan, with an option to buy. The 23-year-old English defender spent the first half of the season on loan at Championship side Cardiff City, but returned to his parent club Nottingham Forest this January. During his loan spell with Cardiff, Panzo was only able to make five appearances.

Panzo, who began his career with Chelsea, moved to Monaco in 2018. During his time in the principality he also spent a season on loan at another Belgian side, Cercle Brugge. The green and black half of Brugge share owners with Monaco and have seen a number of players loaned out to them during the partnership. Panzo has since gone on to play for Dijon and subsequently Nottingham Forest.

He has struggled to force his way into the Forest side since joining in the summer of 2022, spending time on loan with Coventry during the 2022/2023 season.
