Standard Liege In Talks With Inter Over Striker Eddie Salcedo On Loan With Purchase Option, Italian Broadcaster Reports | OneFootball

Inter are in talks with Belgian club Standard Liege over the possibility of sending striker Eddie Salcedo on loan with an option to sign him permanently.

This according to Italian broadcaster SportItalia, who report that the negotiations are ongoing between the two clubs and that the matter of a possible purchase obligation is now being discussed.

Salcedo has been in search of a new club for the season, as he is not in the first team plans at Inter, and a loan move away has always looked likely.

The 20-year-old, who spent last season on loan with Spezia after having been on loan at Hellas Verona during the two seasons prior, has been linked with teams in Serie B as well as abroad, and Standard look to be serious about signing him.

The terms being discussed by the two clubs are for a loan deal, whilst they are also working on the possibility of the Belgian outfit having an option to sign Salcedo on a permanent basis.
