The Liège club is moving quickly to land Rodez AF's breakout striker this season to boost their attack this summer.
Timothé Nkada
Standard de Liège is ramping up its efforts to strengthen its attacking line. The Belgian club has set its sights on Timothé Nkada and has already submitted an initial bid to Rodez for the transfer of the Cameroonian forward.
The French-Cameroonian striker has enjoyed a meteoric rise since arriving at Rodez. Initially used as an impact sub, Timothé Nkada established himself as an undisputed starter over the course of the 2024/25 season, netting 17 goals and providing 5 assists in 31 games. That makes him one of the league’s most prominent attacking threats. His profile perfectly matches Standard’s needs as they look to rebalance their squad and recapture momentum after a challenging campaign.
To this end, the Liège club submitted an opening offer of €1.5 million to Rodez, which was turned down. According to media reports, Rodez AF is demanding a fee between €3 million and €5 million—an amount in line with his estimated market value of around €2.5 million on Transfermarkt, though potentially higher.
