Some sources at Stamford Bridge have moved quick to shut down a huge Chelsea transfer rumour that’s been circulating this week.
Of course, silly season is almost upon us, so this means that there is going to be plenty of noise going around and lots of different stories regarding Chelsea and what their plans are going to be.
We will see contrasting stories, and we will see new names come out every day and new stories about the same names too. Strap yourselves in for another crazy summer in the transfer window!
Blues boss Enzo Maresca has faced the media in the pre-match press conference last week ahead of Nottingham Forest today, and some of the quotes have been filtering through each day on the lead up to the big game.
He has already confirmed that he has attackers Marc Guiu and Christopher Nkunku back and available for the squad, which is a huge boost seeing as Nicolas Jackson is still suspended.
He has also snapped back at fickle critiques of his Chelsea team and how different it has been since Christmas time when they were second in the league.

Chelsea sources have told TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey that they have not held talks over Joao Pedro and they don’t intend to do so as it stands.
It has been claimed that Chelsea had suddenly shown an interest, but Stamford Bridge sources were apparently quick to insist that he was not one of their leading striker options going into the summer.
Chelsea do want at least one new striker this summer and the likes of Liam Delap, Benjamin Sesko, Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen are amongst the options on their radar – but Pedro is not.
