L’Équipe report that 24-year-old St Étienne goalkeeper Alexis Guendouz will leave the club in the coming days for Algerian capital club USM Alger.

Claude Puel has decided that Guendouz is surplus to requirements, having returned following two consecutive loan spells with Pau. He is expected to join the North African side on a free transfer. Despite having 12 months remaining on his current contract, ASSE are expected to reach a mutual termination agreement with him.
