Gianluca Di Marzio reports tonight that Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their chase for Inter centre-back Milan Škriniar, with a meeting taking place today between Director of Sport Steve Hitchin and the player’s agent.
Contacts are also likely to continue with Inter, who have set their asking price for the Slovakian defender at €60m. Spurs are instead looking to lower the price to €50m, with bonuses included.

Should the transfer take place, the Nerazzuri will have set their sights on Fiorentina defender Nikola Milenković as a replacement at centre-half.
