Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Norwegian international attacker Celin Bizet Ildhusøy on a three-year deal.

The Lilywhites confirmed news of the deal this evening via a post on their official club website.

Ildhusøy joins Spurs from French club Paris Saint-Germain where she has spent the last year of her career. The forward made six appearances for her former club in the French D1 Arkema last season. Ildhusøy previously enjoyed a lengthy spell with Norwegian club Vålerenga.

On the international stage, Ildhusøy was a member of the Norwegian side which was eliminated at the group stage of this summer’s UEFA Women’s EURO. The 20-year-old has eight senior caps to her name to date while she has scored four goals.

After completing her latest signing, Spurs head coach Rehanne Skinner said “We are delighted to welcome Celin to the Club. She is an exciting talent with a strong desire to win which aligns with our mentality and ambition. Celin has excellent 1v1 capabilities that will be an asset to our style of play.”

Ildhusøy becomes Spurs boss Skinner’s seventh signing of the summer transfer window. The Lilywhites have also signed Drew Spence, Ellie Brazil, Ramona Petzelberger, Amy Turner, Nikola Karczewska and Angharad James so far this summer.
