Spurs sign Hungarian international midfielder Csiki | OneFootball

Tottenham Hotspur have completed the signing of Hungarian international midfielder Anna Csiki.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Lilywhites this morning.

The 24-year-old joins Spurs from Swedish OBOS Damallsvenskan club BK Häcken. Csiki has spent the last four years with BK Häcken. She has won the OBOS Damallsvenskan title and the Swedish Cup with the club. Along with her experience of winning domestic silverware, Csiki has also played in the UEFA Women’s Champions League in recent seasons.

On the international stage, Csiki is a member of the Hungarian national team. She has been in and around the senior squad for the last six years and has established herself as a regular starter the team.

Csiki is a player that Spurs head coach Robert Vilahamn knows very well; the pair previously worked together at BK Häcken. Vilahamn knows that the player is now ready to step up to the next level and he has offered her the opportunity to get a first taste of Barclays Women’s Super League football this season.

The midfielder is Spurs’ sixth signing of the summer transfer window. Csiki will help fill the void left by Kit Graham’s long-term injury.
