Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli has taken to social media amid talk of a January departure.

The 24-year-old midfielder has endured a frustrating season so far, and has made just three starts in all competitions.

He has regularly been left of the squad altogether by Jose Mourinho, and has not been involved in Spurs' last three games in a row.

Alli's last performance came against Antwerp in the Europa League on October 29, when he was substituted at half-time, and it seems as though his time at Spurs may be coming to an end.

On Tuesday night, Alli posted a picture of himself exercising on his own in his house, and included the caption: "Make improvements, not excuses."

The post was liked by teammates such as Sergio Reguilon, and it is clear that those close to Alli are right behind him as he attempts to rediscover his form.
