Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kit Graham has sustained an Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injury.

WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from the North Londoners this morning.

It has been reported that Graham sustained the injury during Spurs’ pre-season programme. The player will now undergo surgery and she is expected to miss the entire 2024/2025 Barclays Women’s Super League season.

The 28-year-old has now sustained two Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL) injuries in her time with Spurs. Graham sustained her first injury midway through the 2021/2022 season and she was out of action for around 15 months. The midfielder was able to clock up 18 appearances for Spurs in the Barclays Women’s Super League last season as she enjoyed a largely injury-free campaign. Graham’s latest setback is a real blow off the back of that positive season.

Once surgery has been completed, Graham will begin her rehabilitation with the full support of the Tottenham Hotspur medical team. While she has been ruled out of competitive action for the whole season, she is likely to resume some light fitness work early in the new year.

It is unknown whether head coach Robert Vilahamn will look to bring in another midfield option to cover for Graham’s absence.
