Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Silvana Flores has joined FA Women’s National League Southern Premier Division club Ipswich Town on a dual-registration basis.

The Tractor Girls announced the deal for the Mexican international earlier this evening via a post on their official club website.

Flores will spend the remainder of the season with Ipswich Town, although she is thought to also be available for selection by Tottenham Hotspur if The Lilywhites were to call upon the player. With Spurs no longer in the Vitality Women’s FA Cup and with Flores having not featured in their extra-time defeat to Leicester City in the fourth round, the youngster is eligible to play for Ipswich Town in their quarter-final tie against West Ham United on Sunday.

In her early years, Flores was a member of the academy systems at both Arsenal and Chelsea. She joined Reading in early 2021 but failed to make the breakthrough at the Select Car Leasing Stadium. Flores joined current club Spurs in the summer but she is yet to make her debut for the North Londoners, the closest she has come is being an unused substitute against Reading back in September.

Flores is a highly-rated young talent who simply needs an opportunity to shine. She will be hoping to now have that chance with Ipswich Town.
