Conte has been blessed with several signings this summer. Daniel Levy has seemingly backed the Italian manager after he helped Tottenham to a top-four berth in the previous campaign.

Spurs have quality options in the attack to count on this season. Harry Kane, Son Heung-min and Dejan Kulusevski created a brilliant partnership in the second half of last season. All three continued their fine form as they started against Southampton.

In the 2022/23 campaign’s first game, Spurs took on the Saints and won 4-1. The Lilywhites were given a scare as Southampton took the lead. But in the end, we dominated the game and secured the required result.

None of our new signings started the game. Richarlison was banned for the opening game but should be available against Chelsea. However, it’ll be challenging to get into the team.

Kane and Son are guaranteed starters for most fans. While they didn’t get on the scoresheet against the Saints, they looked threatening. On the other hand, Kulusevski scored a goal. The Sweden international has staked a claim for the right-hand side of the attack.

Lucas Moura also came on and played a cameo. Looking at the options at Conte’s disposal, Supporters aren’t worried about the forward line.

But if the Italian wants another forward, who are we to argue? We have a long season ahead of us. The World Cup is also scheduled to start in November. So it wouldn’t hurt Tottenham to have more depth in the squad.
