Spurs exit confirmed as club close in on new signing | OneFootball

Tottenham have confirmed that youngster Mikey Moore has joined Rangers on a season-long loan.

Moore has made 21 senior appearances in all competitions to date for Spurs, scoring once, and will now spend the coming season in the Scottish Premier League under boss Russell Martin.

The deal does not include an option for Rangers to buy the attacker.

“As soon as I heard Rangers were interested and wanted me to come, it was a massive opportunity for me,” Moore said.

“I’m excited to be here and hopefully I can show the fans and everyone what I can do.

“I think with the new boss and the way that we play, it’s a great place to be at the minute. It was a pretty easy decision for me to come here.”

Meanwhile, Spurs are finalising the signing of midfielder Joao Palhinha on loan from Bayern Munich.

The deal is also set to include an option to buy the Portugal international, who previously played in the Premier League with Fulham.
