Spurs ‘close’ to agreement over Ndombele move
The Football Faithful
Tottenham are ‘close’ to an agreement that will see Tanguy Ndombele leave on loan for Paris Saint-Germain.
Spurs are keen to move on the record signing after a disappointing spell since arriving in the Premier League, with the midfielder having struggled for form following his £55m arrival from Lyon.
The Telegraph are reporting that Spurs are now ‘close’ to an agreement with PSG that will see Ndombele return to Ligue 1 on loan for the remainder of the season. Spurs will demand that the 25-year-old’s wages are paid in full and would favour the inclusion of an obligation to buy.

Ndombele has shown just glimpses of his talent and has failed to impress under a succession of managers, with Antonio Conte having decided that the France international does not feature in his future plans.
Discussions had included talk of potential swap deals with Leandro Paredes, Ander Herrera and Georginio Wijnaldum having all been mentioned as makeweights, but the inclusion of a PSG player now appears unlikely.
Spurs are also keen to move on Giovani Lo Celso and Dele Alli before the transfer deadline and the latter is interested a host of Premier League sides, including Newcastle.
Their own transfer plans have however taken a hit, with Adama Traore now set to rejoin Barcelona, while Luis Diaz is expected to be subject to interest from Liverpool who are said to be considering a bid.
