Fenerbahce have asked AC Milan for information on Rade Krunic ahead of a potential attempt to sign him, according to a report from Turkey.
According to Yağız Sabuncuoğlu from SportsDigitale, Fenerbahce have made an enquiry over Krunic, who they seem to be targeting to reinforce the midfield department having finished second behind arch rivals Galatasaray last season.
Having completed the sale of Arda Güler to Real Madrid, the Istanbul club do have some liquidity with which to rebuild the squad and Krunic is a player in his prime that could make an immediate impact.
However, his importance to Stefano Pioli is well known. The Bosnian has established himself as a versatile and reliable professional since his arrival four years ago, so a good offer would be needed for the management to even consider it.
It comes after reports this afternoon suggested Ante Rebic is also a target for Fenerbahce and is actually closing in on a potential €6-7m move.
