AC Milan are continuing to scout in Ligue 1 with Monaco centre-back Soungoutou Magassa the latest player to be linked with a move to the Rossoneri.

As has been reported by Sportitalia, Milan have had great success scouting in Ligue 1 in recent years and that is set to continue into the 2024 summer transfer window.

The likes of Rafael Leao, Yacine Adli, Mike Maignan and Pierre Kalulu were signed from Ligue 1 clubs and 2003-born Magassa could be about to do the same thing if he carries on impressing Milan this season.

Magassa also has what it takes to play in the midfield as he is technically gifted and also extremely strong. It is not yet clear what sort of fee Monaco would want, but they tend to have a high valuation of their players given how much quality has been nurtured there over the years.

The Frenchman has played 18 times for Monaco in Ligue 1 this season and also appeared once in the Coupe de France. He has picked up minutes on both sides of a back four, as well as in midfield.

His market value on Transfermarkt is €10m but Monaco are sure to want more than that when the bids start to come in.
