Sporting Kansas City have signed 29-year-old Serbian defensive midfielder Nemanja Radoja on a three-year MLS contract through 2025 with an option for 2026. He will occupy an international spot on Sporting’s 2023 roster, pending receipt of his International Transfer Certificate and P1 visa.

Radoja made his professional debut in Serbia, playing for Vojvodina before making the move to Spain. He featured for La Liga’s Celta Vigo and Levante, racking up two goals and 181 appearances from 2014 to 2022.

At Celta, he helped his side achieve back-to-back semi final appearances in the Copa del Rey during the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons, while also qualifying for the UEFA Europa League semi finals in 2017. He later moved to Levante, where Radoja helped his side reach the semi finals of the Copa del Rey for the first time in the club's history.

His club career propelled him to feature for the Serbian national team, earning two caps.

Now, at Sporting KC, he will reunite with his ex-teammate Andreu Fontas, who played alongside him at Celta Vigo from 2014 to 2018.
