The 21-year-old goalkeeper first arrived at the club in 2019, joining Sporting Kansas City 2. He later signed a Homegrown Player deal with the MLS side in 2020, despite not having played in Sporting KC’s academy. Pulskamp actually featured for the LA Galaxy’s academy, forcing Sporting to send allocation money to LA for his homegrown rights.

He finally made his debut in 2021, during the first match of the season against the New York Red Bulls. Pulskamp led the team to a 2-1 victory, becoming the third-youngest goalkeeper to win a regular-season match. He went on to make five more appearances that season to cover Tim Melia, who was out with an injury.

Internationally, the goalkeeper has been called up by the US Men’s National Team, but has yet to feature on a senior level. He stood as an unused substitute during the USMNT’s 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina in a friendly on December 18. He has also, however, featured extensively at different levels on the US youth international circuit.
