AC Milan are persisting with their attempts to sign Evan N’Dicka from Eintracht Frankfurt and may be able to do a deal this summer, a report claims.

The Rossoneri are in the market for a new centre-back having lost Alessio Romagnoli on a free transfer and a number of targets have been linked such as Abdou Diallo of Paris Saint-Germain and Japhet Tanganga of Spurs.

One player that keeps being linked – in particular by sources in Germany – is N’Dicka. According to Christopher Michel of Sport1, Eintracht Frankfurt are continuing to push for the sale of the Frenchman this summer given his deal has less than 12 months to run.

Milan are in the running to sign him and are willing to pay more than €15m, with ‘very positive’ discussions held between the clubs. However, the deal is blocked by the player’s agent.

Eintracht do not want N’Dicka to go into the last year of the contract and as such the feeling is that an agreement between them and Milan would probably be reached quickly, but it is up to the player’s will and his entourage.
