Sparta Rotterdam wants to bring in Lance Duijvestijn from Excelsior. This is reported by De Telegraaf and Voetbal International. The attacking midfielder is expected to cost around one million euros.

Duijvestijn is believed to be following Jens Toornstra to Het Kasteel. The FC Utrecht midfielder has made up his mind and is rejecting NAC Breda for a two-year contract with the team from Spangen.

Duijvestijn should become the next reinforcement for Sparta’s midfield. Excelsior are said to have an asking price of one million euros for the player, who is still contracted until the summer of 2026.

Last term, Duijvestijn scored 11 goals and registered nine assists in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. He was named ‘Best Player of the KKD’. The creative playmaker previously played for Almere City, ADO Den Haag, NEC Nijmegen and Helmond Sport.
