HLN is reporting that Anderlecht and Sparta Prague are engaged in talks over the transfer of Nilson Angulo. The 22-year-old Ecuadorian looks set to be the first player to leave the Brussels club this summer. The two clubs have not yet reached an agreement but talks are said to be progressing.
Angulo joined Anderlecht back in 2022 from LDU De Quito in his native Ecuador. As a teenager, Angulo had burst onto the scene in 2022 with an impressive five goals and three assists in 21 games. The winger has had to be patient in Anderlecht, spending his first two seasons with the second team and coming off of the bench for the first time. Last year he played 39 games for the club, scoring twice and providing three assists. Angulo is also a full international for Ecuador.
Anderlecht are looking to be active this summer and players like Angulo and others may well be allowed to leave to make space for new signings.
