SPAL president Joe Tacopina admits they're delighted with the impact of on-loan AC Milan striker Lorenzo Colombo.

The Italy U21 striker is with the Serie B outfit for the season.

“He is only 19 years old. To get him I called my friend Frederic Massara at Milan and he did me a great favour. Everyone wanted Lorenzo, he and the coach are working very well on his mentality," Tacopina said.

“Having signed only him at 19 years old, the journalists told me that we needed a more experienced striker.

"I replied: 'Wait, he will be the top scorer in Serie B'. And he is already proving to be…"
