SPAL coach Clotet: Bellingham truly exceptional at Birmingham

SPAL coach Pep Clotet has spoken of working with Jude Bellingham at Birmingham City.

Clotet worked with Bellingham at 16 before he was sold to Borussia Dortmund.

He told TMW: "They are different players and situations. He still made his debut in professional football when I arrived at Birmingham City, he was just 16 and his was a truly exceptional case.

"It makes me happy to see everything he is achieving with Borussia Dortmund and the England national team. At the same time, Lorenzo (Colombo, on-loan from AC Milan) is doing his first steps and he is a footballer who can have a great future if he continues to work like this.

"My staff and I are very happy to work with him and we want to try to help him to grow and improve further."
